Get Started - Step-by-Step Guide

1. Set up as a business
To work with Shift Hero, you must be registered as a business, either as a Sole Trader, a Limited Company or a Partnership. If you are not yet, that's okay - we'll help you get started. To get set up visit https://www.gov.uk/set-up-business.

3. Gather you documents
Prepare the following documents to streamline the onboarding:
- 2 Photo IDs (Passport & Driving License).
- Company Registration Number or UTR Number.
- Bank Details (in your name or business).
- Certificate of Qualification (level 3 minimum)
- Public & Product Liability Insurance (£5M coverage) - Only required before the start of work, after onboarding.

4. Complete your profile
After your first login, you'll be asked to complete your profile by providing:
- Business information
- Banking information
- Personal information
- Relevant training (optional)
- Relevant professional memberships (optional)
- Certificate of qualification
- professional references (optional)
Once all required information is entered ad documents uploaded, click Finish to access your dashboard.

5. Complete the online assessments
After completing your profile, access the Assessments in Step 2 of your dashboard.

Answer the multiple-choice questions. You will have two attempts to pass each assessment. -
6. Verification of information & documents
We'll review your information and uploaded documents to ensure everything meets the necessary requirements.

7. One-time interview
We'll contact you by telephone to schedule a one-time interview with one of our experienced engineers.
During the interview we'll:- Verify your technical knowledge and qualifications.
- Answer any questions you may have about working with Shift Hero.
- Provide tips to help you get the most out of the platform.
